Within the app, users have access to various options:

Route planning from door-to-door or stop-to-stop, which includes maps and bus and train timetables for South Lower Saxony, as well as rail transportation throughout Germany.
Real-time information and push notifications relating to scheduled connections with specific real-time data available for several traffic companies, including:

Real-time information is also available for traffic companies outside the VSN area.

Timetables for departure and arrival at bus and train stations in the VSN-region, along with additional station information.
Ability to save favorite connections for quick access.

The app requires specific permissions:

Contact access is required for the private contact-based connection finder, but users can revoke this permission in the options menu.
Permissions for "pictures/media/data" are necessary for saving favorites, real-time information, and offline timetables.
Camera access is needed for the "augmented reality" feature that displays nearby stations via the camera.
The app displays nearby stations and connections based on the user's location.
An anonymized device ID is stored on the server to support the push-up service for delivering information to the user's device.
