Within the app, users have access to various options:

• Route planning from door-to-door or stop-to-stop, which includes maps and bus and train timetables for South Lower Saxony, as well as rail transportation throughout Germany.
• Real-time information and push notifications relating to scheduled connections with specific real-time data available for several traffic companies, including:

• Timetables for departure and arrival at bus and train stations in the VSN-region, along with additional station information.
• Ability to save favorite connections for quick access.

The app requires specific permissions:

• Contact access is required for the private contact-based connection finder, but users can revoke this permission in the options menu.
• Permissions for "pictures/media/data" are necessary for saving favorites, real-time information, and offline timetables.
• Camera access is needed for the "augmented reality" feature that displays nearby stations via the camera.
• The app displays nearby stations and connections based on the user's location.
• An anonymized device ID is stored on the server to support the push-up service for delivering information to the user's device.
